Florida Association of Police Explorers

Welcome to F.A.P.E.

F.A.P.E. is a youth run program established in 1971, which reaches out to young adults between the ages of 14 and 21 and allows them the opportunity to become leaders within the organization. We believe as an organization that the youth who are influenced today will become the law enforcement officers of tomorrow.
The membership in F.A.P.E. currently consists of Police Departments, Sheriff Offices, and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies within the State of Florida..

Posts and Units

    Our Goal

We have Explorer Posts and Public Safety Cadet Units all over the state that work with Sheriff's Offices, Police Departments, Border Patrol, and even Homeland Security. Our Posts and Units are dedicated to bettering the community of children and young adults around them through education and a hands-on approach. Our Posts and Units meet several times a year at delegates meetings and state competition to train and compete as well as network with our peers from across the state.

Many of our Explorers and Cadets have become law enforcement officers and credit their knowledge to the many years of training our program has offered them. The goal of our organization is to prepare interested Explorers and Cadets in the opportunities available in law enforcement. We believe our program is a valuable asset to law enforcement agencies and we are always looking for new programs to join our association.
"True leadership lies in guiding others to success."
